A huge part of my life is “breathing life” into the places that have given me so much life. I work hard to stand up for what I believe in and do what I can to uphold the mission of those organization. Here are places that I pour into regularly:
Advisory Care Board Member facilitating discussions through patients, families, and medical care professionals to help better the Allina Clinics.
Located in Arden Hills, Minnesota. Received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Early Childhood degree as well as a license in computers, technology, and keyboarding.
Mentoring the next generation of business leaders. I serve as a mentor to students studying business and passionate about making a difference for the lives of others through Bethel University.
Advisory Council Member providing guidance to further the mission and vision of CaringBridge, also an active user.
Located in St. Paul, Minnesota serving all over the Twin Cities area. I serve as the Executive Chair of the RCAA. We have a meeting once a month to plan events and raise awareness of adoption issues. This group because that adoption is a lifelong journey and we are committing to serving as a resource for the adoption community. I also sit on panels and mentor youth through adoption experiences. This includes: assisting with Adoption Day Camp and celebrations, adoption events, special educational activities, sharing stories via panel discussions, providing a network for adoptees, and providing social activities.
Located in Edina, Minnesota. I have spent many years at CPC leading youth in youth group, small group settings. Currently, I serve as an Elevate coach where I lead four high schoolers who are leading middle schoolers.
I have led students from toddlers to middle schoolers at this church, where I have spent much of my time over the years.
I currently lead a group of 8th grade boys. I mentor, coach, and lead a Bible study with this awesome group of guys. I have lead 4th and 5th grade boys for more than 8 years on Sunday mornings as well Vacation Bible School for preschoolers every summer. For three years I was on the vision committee of kids ministry in which we helped cast the vision for leading kids and families. This year, I am starting to be a sub for high school ministries in leading a core group of high school girls. Below is the information if you are a high schooler or know of one:
HSM meets most Wednesdays from 8:00-9:30PM in area homes.
HSM is our high school ministry made up of 9th-12th grade students from all around the southwestern suburbs. We have nine different house groups that meet most Wednesday nights during the school year. All of the houses gather together a few times during the year for larger HSM Experiences – opportunities for service, worship, special speakers, and other fun events. We have service projects, mission trips, and summer camps designed to help students encounter Jesus and connect with other high school students.

Delegate and Director of CD3 since 2008. Work to promote candidates, raise money and awareness, fundraisers, events. We serve the western suburbs of the Twin Cities in the Democratic Party.
I have served as a director for DFL 3CD for the past 4 years. We work to promote candidates, raise money and awareness, as well as put on fundraisers. CD 3 committee meets once a month in Minnetonka.
DFL 3CD is the local party unit of the Minnesota DFL party for the 3rd Congressional District, composed of the Western Suburbs and part of the Northern and Southern suburbs, wrapping around the city of Minneapolis. Our group works to promote endorsed DFL candidates and our DFL platform at all levels. We also work with the 12 senate districts inside CD3 to provide assistance to our Minnesota House and Senate DFL elected representatives.

The officers currently include the Chair, Associate Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Affirmative Action Officer, plus the Directors. These positions are elected every two years at the Congressional District convention and these folks fill a number of roles throughout their term.
