Teaching

Nikki Abramson has been received a top notch education through The International School of MN and holds a BA and MN teaching license in elementary, preprimary, and computer technology from Bethel University. She teaches everything from acting to reading. Nikki is a life-long learner, proficient in Spanish, and holds certifications in: American Red Cross, First Aid, American Heart CPR, Shaken Baby Syndrome, and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

Ms. Abramson enjoys writing nonfictional work and has extensive training in teaching, mentoring, event planning, and acting. As a teen she fell in love with working with students in helping them develop their skills. She loves seeing students’ light bulb come on when they master a concept. Nikki has developed curriculum and taught curriculum for all ages, levels, and skill set. She works as a lead teacher and admin for Sylvan Learning Center and teaching artist for Upstream Arts and Bloomington Civic Theatre. Nikki is also a summer school teacher in Roseville school district and a substitute teacher. Her experience in teaching is wide and varied.

Nikki aspires to be a teacher of change. As a student, she has had an inspirational teacher in 8th grade who told her “You can do anything you set your mind to do.” This stuck with Ms. Abramson and she carries it into all that she does and encourages her students in this manner as well. Remember, education is the key to success in life.
